Comments: Sue, I am not sure how much shade it will thrive in. Ussually it is best in full sum. I would probably go more towards a Bottlebrush buckeye, or Viburnum dentatum cultivar if shade is there. Is the area moistAnother option is burkwood viburnum whick is one of the toughest of the viburnums.
